Six Sigma Steps to Success

Step 1: Organization
  • Ground zero; time to start.
Step 2: Identify Core Processes that impact Key Customers
  • What processes do the customers "feel" most.
Step 3: Define Customer Requirements
  • Probably the most important step in the Six Sigma process is determining the actual needs of the customer.
Step 4: Measure Current Performance
  • Where are we today?
Step 5: Analyze and Implement Process Improvements
  • The 5th step is normally the most time consuming step due to the magnitude of analysis involved.
